My Open Letter – The 48 Hour Update

As many of you will be aware I recently wrote an Open Letter, regarding Thin Blue Line patches, to the Home Secretary and the Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis.

I forwarded copies of it to the Home Office and the Metropolitan Police Force.

I also sent copies of it to the following;

ITV News
GB News
LBC
The Mail
The Express
The Guardian
The Independent
The Observer
Police Oracle
The Havering Daily (don’t ask 😂)
The Sun
The Mirror

Neither the Home Office nor the Metropolitan Police have even acknowledged its existence.

I got a polite Thank You, I’ll pass it on, from Police Oracle, and a Thank You from Mark White at GB News, who appeared to quote from it during his interview, but certainly didn’t reference it.

Once again, none of the other recipients have responded so far.

I can’t say that I’m surprised, but I’m certainly disappointed, but that’s the norm when you’re a PITA.
