After desperately searching for something to say in May’s favour – some tiny balancing merit in support of this poor frail little ol’ Tory trooper – only this has surfaced so far, I’m afraid..

“Mitchell himself was convinced that the Home Secretary was instrumental in turning colleagues against him and that she briefed the media that he could not hold on to his job. She didn’t deny when quizzed about this that she had been at the ‘vanguard’ of calls for him to step down”

“She played a key role in pushing Andrew Mitchell out, something she effectively confirmed on the Sunday Politics”

Odds on May to lead the Titanic as it slips into oblivion?

A hideous bully with a vicious vindictive nature, she ought to have been a great friend to Police; but sadly Camoron in his personal hatred for Police, poisoned her mind and turned her into some gnashing thrashing beast. She will eventually fizzle out into obscurity like a demented roman candle.
