    Nobody cares.The gov did a great propaganda job on all of the public services and made everyone else fear for their livelihood so that any sympathy the public may have had for emergency services was forgotten.

    We can’t have it both ways. Emergency services are just that. They more or less
    sit around doing not a lot until the sh1t hits the fan and then the hours of training kicks in to help those in need.That is when it matters.

    We either dig deep and pay for the emergency services so they are fully functional and turn up when we really need them or we don’t.
    However when they turn up too late because there are not enough to go round. Don’t complain then, it’s too late your chance has passed.

    As far as sleeping soundly those bar stewards in gov do exactly that. Please don’t think conscience plays a part in anything they do.
