I’m sure every cop in the land, (PCs & Sgts at least), would happily donate a quid to a fighting fund for James, and when that ran out donate another.

The injustice for James Patrick is clear to all except those who prefer to be blind. How this can be a ‘professional standards’ matter in the public interest escapes me.

Just how the House of Commons Public Administration Select Committee (PASC) will react to the actions of the MPS after publishing their report is unknown. One can hardly imagine it will be to the credit of the MPS.

Even more stark when one is reminded of the MPS public statement: The Met Police said they were open to criticism but had a duty to protect staff and the public from unwarranted criticism and to maintain public confidence in the police service.

Yet another “nail in the coffin” for the MPS for those who care deeply.

    • Like you I await the reaction of PASC with interest. After their commentator when James gave his verbal evidence, and again in their report, I can’t see them just lying down and taking it, but Bernie doesn’t seem to have much time for Parliamentary committees.

I have said it before and I will say it again………………the DPS are totally out of control and Hyphen Howe couldn’t give two hoots about that. They have an agenda to get rid of as many officers as possible and they will use and abuse the system to achieve that. The fact they are using UPP against officers on long term sick shows the lengths they will go to.
